Summary: iexplore cannot work on webservers which requires Content-Length. Product: Wine Version: 1.0-rc3 Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: eddie@lania.nl
Error while trying to login on an Microsoft Outlook Web Access server.
The OWA server returns "Length Required"
On Google I find the following information about this error:
The server refuses to accept the request without a defined Content- Length. The client MAY repeat the request if it adds a valid Content-Length header field containing the length of the message-body in the request message.
If this is the case, can it be added?
With kind regards,
Eddie Lania.

--- Comment #1 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-06-03 14:20:19 --- Are you using wine's own iexplore or are you using ies4linux?

--- Comment #2 from Eddie Lania eddie@lania.nl 2008-06-03 14:24:49 --- I am NOT using ies4linux.
This has been tested using mostly builtin dlls.
And that is also true for bug 13651 which you just closed thank you.
Regards,
Eddie.

--- Comment #3 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-06-03 22:31:11 --- Please remove ~/.wine directory and run 'wine iexplire <address>' where <address> is the url you are having problems with. Don't forget to mention it here. The above command will ask to install wine_gecko where you should select "install".

--- Comment #4 from Eddie Lania eddie@lania.nl 2008-06-04 10:12:12 --- I'd like to file no more bugs to wine anymore because I don't like the way Vitaliy Margolen is treating me.
Can I unregister my e-mail address from wine somewhere?
Eddie.
