--- Comment #1 from Olivier F. R. Dierick o.dierick@piezo-forte.be --- Hello,
Please give more details on your issue.
Which Ubuntu release? Which application where you trying to run with Wine? Is there a free & legit download of the application or a demo/trial? Please give the URL in that case.
Please attach a normal (=without WINEDEBUG) terminal output. Instructions to get a log can be found there: https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log
What happens when you run a simple command like 'winecfg'?
How are "Replit on Chrome" & "boosted Repl." involved in the issue?
More generally, can you give steps to reproduce the issue?
Regards.

--- Comment #2 from temp3@writeme.com --- Created attachment 73633 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=73633 Terminal output, as best as I could

--- Comment #3 from temp3@writeme.com --- Replit is using Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS. I was trying to run the Scratch 1.4 Installer. There is a legit download, here it is: https://download.scratch.mit.edu/ScratchInstaller1.4.exe
I attached it already. The instructions wouldn't output the error to log.txt and would just throw the error into the terminal, so I copied and pasted the terminal output into log.txt.
Whenever I run 'winecfg', I still get the error thrown into the terminal.
Replit is the IDE I'm using, Chrome is the browser I'm running Replit on, and a boosted Repl is a Replit project with more RAM and CPU.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Make a project at Replit.com 2. Install WINE from the Ubuntu repositories using a community-made script. (Replit doesn't natively allow root perms to use 'apt install' or anything like that) 3. Install Nautilus using the same method. 4. Upload ScratchInstaller1.4.exe to the Repl 5. Boost it or buy the Hacker plan 6. run 'wine ScratchInstaller1.4.exe' in main.sh
I hope this helped.

I can also attach the community-made install script, if you need it. Just tell me.

--- Comment #5 from temp82@luukku.com --- the instructions seem overcomplicated. I have no issue running the installer or the program locally from console (wine 8.0rc1)

Hello,
There must be something missing in the Ubuntu setup used by Replit.
The core dump may indicate what it is, check if you can get it.
Regards.

--- Comment #7 from temp3@writeme.com --- I no longer need to solve the issue, for my school has blocked Replit. I appreciate your time.
