"Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Dark Crusade" is another game (at least the
version I have) that seems to suffer from this bug.

Some lines taken from the setup.ini file to identify this version:
"AppName=Dawn of War - Dark Crusade
ProductGUID=FF39FC01-819B-42E4-AE49-1968AF12DDD4
CompanyName=THQ"

This is the output when I try to run setup.exe:
