An empty "Wine System Tray" window appears as soon as the "Debriefing"-screen pops up. It's completely empty, but does not disappear. Also there is no [X] in top right corner...

--- Comment #1 from Lei Zhang thestig@google.com 2008-11-26 12:47:52 --- Do you have virtual desktop set? What window manager are you using?

--- Comment #2 from John Haywards normandy@web.de 2008-11-26 13:01:06 --- This happens when using virtual desktop, and it happens without.
I tested on three PC's, 2 running Debian (both Gnome22 and metacity) and another one running Ubuntu (also Gnome 2.2 and metacity)

--- Comment #5 from John Haywards normandy@web.de 2008-11-27 02:23:20 --- Well, the tray-window does not pop up, but wine does not exit too... (Dunno whether this is because of wine-tray or of the application itself...

--- Comment #6 from Lei Zhang thestig@google.com 2008-12-01 13:00:26 --- You can check by running the ps command or using a gui process viewer. The system tray is part of explorer.exe, and you might have a condor.exe (or whatever the app is called) running as well.

Sorry, think this is a stupid question: but will it be in offic. wine-builds? I can't see it in wine 1.1.12?

Patch wasn't accepted. Knowing Lei, he'll probably wait a bit, see if he can improve it, and resubmit. Keep your fingers crossed :-).

--- Comment #15 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2010-06-04 12:46:30 --- There have been some fixes recently in this area of wine. Is this still an issue in current (1.2-rc2 or newer) wine? If so, can you find a downloadable program with this problem?
