Wine just seems to immediately close with no generated errors.

Information on the game that might be useful:
Game uses DirectX 6 Graphics API.
Game uses Windows Media Player for playing FMVs.

And please upgrade to the latest wine (at this moment wine-8.0-rc3) in case the
bug is already fixed...

wine-8.0-rc3 doesn't seem to be available in my distro's package manager (Arch
Linux pacman) or the Arch User Repository. I installed it through protonup-qt
to use with the Lutris launcher but it returned the same output as 7.22
staging.
