Bug ID: 46664 Summary: When uninstalling Wine, apt autoremove removed gdm. Product: Wine Version: unspecified Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: njlyf2011@hotmail.com Distribution: ---
I just uninstalled WineHQ, and when I uninstalled and executed apt autoremove, apt deleted my gdm and prevented it from entering the GUI. I think this is a problem with making the WineHQ installation package.
This happened when I uninstalled WineHQ some time ago.

--- Comment #1 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- The Wine packages do not depend on gdm. If apt autoremove decided to remove it from your system for some reason, that's a bug in apt.
