I am new to using Wine and debug reporting, so sorry if I mess up with this
comment. I am using the latest version of wine 0.9.14, and after successfully
installing Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 on my linux distro, I find that it does not
work (despite comments on here suggested that it should). The application starts
fine, but all I see is a blank dialog box - no surfbar etc. I used the full
installation package of IE5.5, as the download setup program is no longer
supported by Microsoft.

My linux distro is Ubuntu - Dapper.
