As per the summary, the water in Oblivion is entirely opaque, even switching to FBO (which fixes the lack of shader effects) doesn't solve it.

Here's a screenshot of the water without any mods or anything done -- just a clean installation in a new wine prefix. Running wine version 1.1.29. I think this problem has been fixed? I'm unable to duplicate it with my computer anyway. Using an Nvidia 8800 GT.
