--- Comment #1 from Matthew Toseland toad@amphibian.dyndns.org 2008-12-26 18:37:02 --- This happens with git head (snapshots 1-4), and with 1.1.11 (6-9). Changing detail settings makes no difference.

--- Comment #4 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2009-07-21 14:04:30 --- Is this still an issue in current (1.1.26 or newer) wine?

--- Comment #5 from memysabu memysabu@hotmail.com 2010-04-28 01:30:19 --- This isnt just with HL 2. Ive got severe image corruption in most games I try to run with the latest compiled version of wine and fglrx HD 3200. Since its been 6 months Im sure the people who posted prior have given up and you wont hear from them again. If wine isnt going to support ATI they should put a notice on the front page.

--- Comment #6 from Gustavo gugamilare@gmail.com 2010-05-17 14:46:16 --- I used to have sever image corruptions with Kubuntu 9.10 on wide-screen resolutions (like 1280x720). Using 800x600 or 1024x768 resolutions worked correctly. After I updated to Kubuntu 10.04, that problem went away, though.

--- Comment #7 from runetmember@gmail.com 2012-03-09 02:50:43 CST --- There is a lot of improvements in both of WINE and Catalyst since 2010 year. Do you able to reproduce image corruptions in Half-Life 2 with WINE 1.4 and Catalyst 12?

--- Comment #8 from Matthew Toseland toad@amphibian.dyndns.org 2012-03-17 14:43:16 CDT --- Works well for me with catalyst 12.2, Radeon 5970. Tested with crossover - doh! But that's close enough to wine, and it was probably a driver bug anyway. (Tested with one screen; with two screens I have other problems from the driver).
