After update Wine 3.20 to 4.0rc2 Notepad++ doesn't start anymore.

For me, both versions (32 et 64 bits) works fine. You could try with a clean
wineprefix.

Sorry, but I didn't understand that you mean with "clean wineprefix". I am
using `wine notepad++.exe` from the installed folder.
Should I set the environment variable `WINEPREFIX`?

Yes, I did, and after reinstall all, this application are working.

Just Windows application re-installation in a clean Wind fix it.
