Summary: Office 2007 suite programs crash trying to display file dialog Product: Wine Version: 1.3.5 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: matthew.hirsch@gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=31794) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=31794) Output from powerpoint run with wine on the command line
When using Office 2007 word and powerpoint (I haven't tested others), I get a crash and "*** buffer overflow detected ***" message when I perform an operation that would normally open a file dialog, such as "open" or "save as". I'm using the fedora 14 packaged wine, wine-1.3.5-1.fc14.i686. I deleted my .wine directory and reinstalled office from scratch and get the same error. This same configuration worked in an earlier version of wine from fedora 13 (not sure which version).
I am using the riched20 override. A backtrace is attached.
