wmp10 used to be able to play .wma files. Now it can't. Not sure which wine version this got broken in.
(wmp11 can still play .wma files, but the installation is miserable (requiring flipping between multiple windows versions to complete the "first run") and the UI is totally busted. This is OK for my purposes (DirectSong), but it's not a generally applicable solution.)
