The support at efile-express.com has been extremely helpful in the past, and I suspect that it matches the DIY tastes of linux users, so with little tax software available to linux, they might be willing to cooperate to solve this so they can claim linux support.

Console output doesn't give much: fixme:advapi:CheckTokenMembership ((nil) 0x147528 0x32de28) stub! fixme:win:LockWindowUpdate (0x1004c), partial stub! fixme:win:LockWindowUpdate ((nil)), partial stub!
Same in latest git. Native gdiplus didn't help.

Since Wine-1.3.9 the rendering of the forms is almost correct (see attached screenshot). However there are still problems with rendering of certain letters (see the words 'Name Address and SSN' in the upper left corner).
