Bug ID: 35322 Summary: gtk-window-decorator crashes Product: Wine Version: 1.4.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: wine@scotthinton.com Classification: Unclassified
Gtk-window-decorator keeps randomly crashing while running some programs in wine. If I quit all running wine apps I can restart gtk-window-decorator without error. Although, it will continue to crash at random times. I have noticed that dialog or confirmation boxes usually trigger the crash. The problem started once I upgraded Ubuntu from 13.04 to 13.10 and Wine updated to the latest version. This error occurs on all three of my computers.

--- Comment #1 from Bruno Jesus 00cpxxx@gmail.com --- What is your current wine version? Is it really 1.4.1? That is a very old an unsupported version. Please read http://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu and get the latest development version (1.7.10) and try again.
Maybe the problem is in the gtk-window-decorator, not wine.

--- Comment #2 from Alexandre Julliard julliard@winehq.org --- No matter what Wine does, gtk-window-decorator shouldn't crash, so you should report the bug to the gtk folks.

--- Comment #4 from Scott wine@scotthinton.com --- Confirmed not a wine bug, I can reproduce in almost any x-window now.
