Most of the time, the second save on the same file fails. Apparently, the opened file is still flagged as in use by the application, and Powerpoint does not recognise it is doing it itself. Workaround: Use "save as" and save to two files interchangeably.

Powerpoint seems to respond that way now for any version from 1.23 till the current git.
This behavior started a week ago, using wine-1.1.33 (the latest were other regressions were not present).
