--- Comment #1 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-06-12 08:55:45 --- Can you reproduce it with clean ~/.wine dir?
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13817
--- Comment #2 from The Source thesource@mail.ru 2008-06-12 12:58:20 --- That was exactly what I did. Stopped wine service, deleted ~/.wine, updated wine packages to 1.0-rc3, started wine service, ran winecfg to change some options, installed qip, tried to run it.

--- Comment #3 from The Source thesource@mail.ru 2008-06-12 13:11:15 --- Also note, that this happens only on 32bit system. QIP works fine on 64bit one with the very same version of wine.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13817
--- Comment #4 from The Source thesource@mail.ru 2008-06-12 13:19:02 --- Sorry, I was wrong. It does happen on 64bit too. And it happens when animated smilies are enabled. With simple smilies QIP works fine.

started wine service
What's that? What exactly did you ran?
/etc/init.d/wine start
I installed wine from RPMs in Fedora 9 x86_64.

started wine service
What's that? What exactly did you ran?
/etc/init.d/wine start
That's not a part of Wine. Please stop this "service", and test without it.

--- Comment #8 from The Source thesource@mail.ru 2008-06-16 05:24:25 --- Stopped it. Same problem.
P.S. The only thing this service does is register wine as a handler for windows binaries, so I can do "./myapp.exe" instead of "wine myapp.exe".
