In a clean 32-bit WINEPREFIX, I installed dotnet452 / corefonts
(appdb indicate that dotnet4 is needed)

I mounted the offline install media (vs2015.com_enu.iso) with fuseiso and ran
vs_community.exe

The installer starts until the grey splash screen saying Visual Studio
Community 2015 but never goes further than that.

Console output is an endless string of :

"fixme:thread:__syscall_NtQueryInformationThread info class 16 not supported
yet"

Also, for install to continue Windows version needs to be set at 8 or higher

In wine 4.8 installation works (at least for web-based installer). This bug may
be obsolete (already fixed).

Running from offline iso I don't get the mentioned string, but endless

0053:fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),1,0x94efa20,0x00000000), stub!

and a black window after splash screen(with wrong colors btw.- pink "Visual
Studio with black background).

Same with windows version 7 & 8.

So I cannot confirm. Probably another bug.

EnumDisplayDevicesW was improved in wine 4.11
