Terminal log after mfc42

Seems to have installed successfully.
Gave an error window that files 'did not self-register'.

Program itself does not seem to run, can't seem to get much clue what's going
wrong. Will investigate more tomorrow.  Let me know if there is something I
should run.

Try "winetricks wsh56"

the missing sccrun.dll is part of that package amentioned above

(Re)Install log after wsh56

Installed wsh56 with winetricks.
Running program still does not work.
Re-ran installer.  Did not give error messages shown in earlier screenshot and
completed without error.
Program still does not run.  Same fixme:exec:SHELL_execute flags ignored:
0x00000100 errors.  Just shows Windows cmd type window then closes.
Did not try clean install with mfc42 and wsh56 already installed.

Seems to be calling through a series of .bat files so is it possible it is
having a problem with environment variables?

So looks like the environment is set correctly. The problem looks firstly like
problem in ShellexecuteEx, like in bug

I rediffed Alexander Sornes' patch against current git , and then it gets a bit
further: a splash screen appears, but then it seems to crash again due to
another bug; i have not been able to track down that last bug. Let's make this
bug about the last crash

Could not find a downloadable version.

Could you please try to run it in recent (1.4-rc5 or newer) wine and check if
the problem still occurs?

Please retest with current wine (1.5.31 or later) and provide a terminal log if
the problem still happens.

If you don't, this bug will be abandoned soon.

The program installs correctly in wine 1.5.31. Tested twice, winetricks mfc42
is required. I guess the program will not run because the dlls are not in the
same folder as the exe (bug 625 ?).
