To clarify, the "dynamic lighting" setting in game effects whether the graphics render properly in wine, the dynamic lighting setting must be on for graphics to render properly in wine 2.0 - 2.1.
In the initial bug report, the attached screen shots are the scenarios where "dynamic lighting" is turned on.
This is a screenshot of the map aerowalk with dynamic lighting turned off in wine 2.1 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/266419049372581889/294232185907576832...

--- Comment #4 from Andreas W beppobizeppa@gmx.de --- I get varying results and I get some renderings with wine 2.4 which are the same as the ones I get with wine 2.1 (which looked okay and playable but were to dark). E.g. I get the same results as firestartw in 2.4 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/266419049372581889/294232180698120192... and when I clear the lightmap via the game console (r_lm_clear) it's back to the rendering like in 2.1.
Interestingly on wine 2.1 clearing the lightmap has no effect on the rendering at all + it seems to be missing some ambient light term (like the lightmap blending would deliver) while in wine > 2.1 clearing the lightmap alters the renderings.
In general the rendering results seem to be related to the blending of the lightmap and the dynamic lighting rendering. I just noticed that in 2.2 some additional blending functions were introduced.

--- Comment #5 from Andreas W beppobizeppa@gmx.de --- This is fixed in wine 2.6. I get correct renderings for all tested maps.
