When you start the game, wine loads just what is actually seen. When you use
ability/fire weapon/see something new game hangs for a bit. After that, game
runs fast again. 
When using windows, everything is preloaded.

Don't run games from a windows partition, install them in wine properly.

Well, ok, voted for that bug report. But it is not about rotation, really, it's
about every game resource.
