Bug ID: 56623 Summary: wineboot --shutdown doesn't do anything Product: Wine Version: 9.7 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download, source Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: programs Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com Distribution: ---
Running "wineboot --shutdown" doesn't do anything.
1. wine notepad 2. wineboot --shutdown
Apologies if this is a duplicate but I couldn't find a bug open for it anywhere.
"wineboot --end-session" is similar.
"wineboot --kill" works, but that's a last resort.
Any app that starts a background service will run forever, as it should, but there needs to be a way to shut it down.
