Summary: Photoshop Elements 7.0 hangs and do nothing. Product: Wine Version: 1.1.31 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: blocker Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: l-e.englund@bredband.net
Hello!
I'm updated wine 1.1.30 -> 1.1.31. In the version 1.1.30 it was possible to run Photoshop elements 7.0, but not with version 1.1.31. The splash screen is OK. The problem is when you choose Edit, and starts the editor. Here Photoshop hangs, and will not run, even if you wait for a while.
Regards Lars-Erik Englund

Would it not be better to:
1) connect to the AppDB http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=15722
2) close bug as abandoned and reopen if someones comes by with the software

Thanks and done. BTW i think that anyone including you can link bugs between AppDB and bugzilla. No extra right are needed IMHO, just an AppDB account.

Well confirming.
It truly hangs in 1.1.31, but it works in 1.3.23. So technically we could mark it as FIXED, but actually nothing was change in wine in this particular case. So it should be rather marked as INVALID, because you used too old wine version.
Fix me, if i am wrong ;)
