Confirming, consider UNCONFIRMED->NEW and KEYWORDS: +DOWNLOAD, +INSTALLER
All the following version have reported issue: * 0.9.49 * 0.9.60 * 1.0.1 * 1.1.10 * 1.1.22 * 1.1.30 * 1.1.33
The problem is, that installer firstly unpack 3dmark2000_v11_100308.exe and then run Setup.exe. I guess, that problem here is that Setup.exe is in different path than wine 3dmark2000_v11_100308.exe and thus install fails.
Easy workaround is to unpack 3dmark2000_v11_100308.exe by winrar and run "wine Setup.exe". Then installation runs flawlessly.
It's easily reproducible.

Opps...
1. If you say in subject "Regression", you have to say, which version works for you.
2. The error message is exactly the same like in WinXP SP2.
3. AppDB even mention failures in WinXP SP3
This probably means, that installer is faulty thus this bug report will turn to invalid status.
For installation use better link like: http://www.computerbase.de/downloads/software/benchmarks/futuremark_3dmark20...

--- Comment #3 from cruiseoveride cruiseoveride@gmail.com 2009-11-14 16:03:35 --- I think I misinterpreted this webpage http://wiki.winehq.org/BenchMark-0.9.33
I just assumed it used to work, otherwise how would there be any benchmarks.
Sorry about the confusion.

Go and download 3dmark2000 from the following link:
http://www.computerbase.de/downloads/software/benchmarks/futuremark_3dmark20...
If you use this link, you will have no problem with installation and running the benchmarks. After that do not forget to put your results here:
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=6775
Last result is pretty old, so we need your help with your testing.

And invalid - if it fails on Windows it's installer's bug.
