A user asked whether Sigmaplot worked ( http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-software-2/winesigmaplot-62048... ) so I tried the current demo of Sigmaplot 10. It seemed to install ok, but refused to start, saying "Handle used on call did not describe a valid licensing system context." "No such feature recognized by server" "Application has not been given a name." Right before making that complaint, it tries to open files lshost and lshostname, and broadcasts a UDP packet of size 1432 to port 5093 on the LAN. So it seems to be using Sentinel license manager.

installs and runs fine in wine-1.2-rc2-111-g9aa9a12. Dan, unless you have a copy of SP10 laying around, should probably mark this as fixed.
