Im doing, wine /media/STALKER/setup.exe . The choose installer language window pops up, after choosing language this error window pops up "Error, Runtime Error (at 71:13299): Floating point division by zero." After clicking ok on that, the installer dies. This is terminal output:
nicklas@nicklas-K72DR ~ $ wine /media/STALKER/setup.exe fixme:system:SetProcessDPIAware stub! fixme:system:SetProcessDPIAware stub! fixme:win:DisableProcessWindowsGhosting : stub
Thing is, I have played this game a few months ago, it worked back then, both when i installed it with wine and also with playonlinux.

--- Comment #2 from nicklas karlsson dracul666_81@hotmail.com 2011-09-26 15:51:30 CDT --- You mean it will work if i do that? There is no difference, i run it from the directory by writing wine then space, then dragging the file from dolphin to konsole, should work right?

--- Comment #5 from Caladan a.vankaam@chello.nl 2011-10-18 01:40:06 CDT --- Since got the game figured I could run a regression test, but first I just did a clean install with 1.3.30, only got the "Don't know what to do with 10000 channels, pretending there's only 2 channels" in the console and for the rest it all worked out fine.
Also tried to select languages different to English on the installer and did not get the error.
Tried it from my /home and tried it from inside the dvd directory, neither gave the error.

--- Comment #6 from Fernando Martins fernando@cmartins.nl 2011-10-29 14:22:15 CDT --- I also can't reproduce this error. My version has English, Spanish, Italian, and French. Maybe it is a different version of STALKER or maybe there is a corrupt file feeding bad data.

--- Comment #7 from Jerome Leclanche adys.wh@gmail.com 2011-11-02 05:20:50 CDT --- OP, is this still an issue in a clean wineprefix for 1.3.31? Please run a regression test if it's still present.

You can forget about it. It looks to be random problem with the installer. The first couple of times I ran the setup if failed. Then suddenly it worked. No idea what randomly messed up there. Maybe it has to do with the installer not detecting my HD 7970 correctly. It reports the graphic card as "X11 System 2014MB" or crap like that marked in red. Allows to install though but maybe the installer didn't get something there and failed. Let's see if the game actually runs.
