Each time i try to use Absynth 5, sound comes out crackled and glitchy. At the same time, I can see in the terminal window the following message repeated successively:

They come out crackled and glitchy on windows too if the sound configuration is set to WASAPI. If I set it to ASIO then the sound is correct.
Which one are you using under Wine? (File menu, audio and midi settings)

That likely explains it which makes this bug report invalid. Other audio apps have the same problem, eg cakewalk or FL Studio without adjusting the latency while not using asio has crackling.
