messenger starts but the window stays grey/empty

after adding riched20.dll i can see the blincking curser, but no
fonts/colors/graphics...

Hello,

try 'sh winetricks riched20 gdiplus'.
Wine's gdiplus needs more work.

And again: please fill out bug reports properly, e.g. always supply download
URL.

i tried to execute your command but is does not work :

$ sh winetricks riched20 gdiplus
sh: winetricks: No such file or directory

hi, it was not known to me before.. i did what you suggested and now i can see
the initial screen, thanks for your help.

now i just can`t login ... : errorcode 80048888d

fixme:ras:RasEnumConnectionsA RAS support is not implemented! Configure program
to use LAN connection/winsock instead!

seems to be a known problem... hope this is already fixed in wine 1.1.1...

Markus, please supply the download link for where you got MSN from. There's a
zillion different versions, so please be specific. I.e. don't say "I got it
from msn.com"
