This is a known regression, still waiting for the patch that solves it to get
committed. For now you could as a work around run with native comctl32:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="comctl32=n" wine davar_en.exe

(you download comctl32.dll from www.dlldump.com, put it in
~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system)
