--- Comment #1 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- I don't have a problem opening php_enhanced_en.chm (from https://php.net/get/php_enhanced_en.chm/from/a/mirror) with wine-1.7.33-50-g7eed378. Could you please retest with 1.7.33? Does that .chm have the same issue for you?

Search isn't implemented (bug 7636), but there is a tab for it, as well as tabs for "index" and "favorites." The index works fine here on 1.7.33 when opening php_enhanced_en.chm.
Is your wineprefix clean (no winetricks or other tweaks, nothing else installed)?

--- Comment #7 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- I can reproduce the behavior described in comment 3 by running hh.exe with wine64.
Sergey, when you tested this, did you use "wine64" in the command line rather than just "wine"? If not: do you have a proper WoW64 setup? Pure 64 bit Wine is not a supported configuration.

--- Comment #9 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- Never run Wine with sudo. Follow these instructions to fix the permissions mess you've now created: http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-8b89c928ce782c014b8b312469223296093e1484.
The original problem reported here, a crash when using an old version, has been reported fixed by upgrading to the current development release, so I'm going to mark this one fixed. As for your other problems, ask for help on the forum. Bugzilla is not for user support.
