Version 0.9.59

Tax application runs (with lots of fixme's) and prints to "lp" via CUPS.  Alas,
generated PostScript fails under ghostscript as well as on a genuine postscript
printer.

Same application and data runs and prints properly under Win'98 using
"PSPRINT.DRV".

Attached is a sample WINE-created PS file, a GIF of the ghostview image that is
displayed, a list of the ghostscript error messages and a GIF of what was
expected to be printed:  wine_postscript.ps, wine_T1.gif, gs_errors.txt and
T1.gif respectively.

back do you want me to go?

No, those bugs were closed because you're supposed to add the attachments to
this bug.  Has this ever worked?  Saying that it fails in 0.9.59 makes it seems
like it used to work, and if it did work in an older version, you start at the
last known working version.

Ignore my comment, I glanced quickly and misread win 98 as wine 0.9.58.

Which application is this?  Is there a copy I can download?

I've looked at the PostScript you attached and it seems wine is generating some
invalid image data fromPSDRV_StretchDIBits.

redefining undefinedresult in errordict to { currentfile 7 string readstring 4
{ pop } repeat } works around wine's bad ps and produces a working document
that shows a tax form.

Apparently not.  I was successful om running FutureTax with the current wine
version in Debian 5.0
