Using the command WINEDLLOVERRIDES=msvcrt=n wine "/home/steve/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Macromedia/Director MX/Director.exe"
With the msvcrt.dll that comes with Director placed in the Director MX folder (which is where it is by default) results in this bug dissapearing.
So this is really just a configuration issue?
Should I also tell wine not to override the other DLLs that come with Director MX?
They are: Dirapi.dll Iml32.dll Proj.dll Projctrc.dll Projec32.skl
