Now, it is done. But it is not the same version that I use. Mine is not a demo release.

--- Comment #5 from Marcos Vicente Cruz marcos_vc@coel.com.br 2010-04-07 07:42:38 --- I noticed the same thing using the wine version of gdiplus.dll plus font corruption after getting very slow. You need zoom in and out repeatedly a large circuit to make this appear. Using the bundled non wine version this bug don't appear. I tested with wine version 1.1.41.

--- Comment #6 from Rpnpif rpnpif@free.fr 2010-09-21 14:35:15 CDT --- Same issues with wine 1.3.3 on Debian Squeeze. Actually, I have no time to make full regression testing.

--- Comment #7 from Rpnpif rpnpif@free.fr 2010-09-21 15:32:46 CDT --- Here is a workaround for the zoom effect slowness. Use the native gdiplus.dll (those of Proteus) instead of the integrated library. The display speed becomes acceptable but not high. OpenGL can not be selected as it should.
This workaround does not fix the long time of starting.

--- Comment #8 from Rpnpif rpnpif@free.fr 2011-02-11 09:37:30 CST --- The launch time of Proteus ISIS is much faster and becomes acceptable by changing of the setting of my video card driver.
I had "options radeon modeset=1" in /etc/modprobe.d/radeon-kms.conf. I changed to modeset=0.
Perhaps, this settings freed video memory amount. Now "Wine isis.exe" takes about 10 s instead of about 60 ! It is not perfect, but better.
Great.
