Photoshop started. Created new empty image. Opened channel mixer.

When using the channel mixer, Photoshop will crash due to the unimplemented
function GdipCreateEffect().

Got the native version of gdiplus:

winetricks gdiplus

This done it for me on wine 1.6.1.
