In winetricks to play the game I use Directx9, ie8, glsl=enabled, dotnet20
(later replaced with dotnet40), and when i start the game the launcher works
fine and it loads easily. I start a race and the game runs fine but after i get
my rewards the game will freeze. I still hear sound but the game is
unresponsive.

Im running mac osx 10.6.8

i will supply a log when i get the time.

Log file for NFS

apparently when my cursor disappeared off screen the game continued after i
collected my reward. but when the cursor came back the game froze again after
collecting my rewards for winning a race. I'm assuming the mouse is causing the
problem?

I've found a preventive solution. The same was happening to me, then when the
race is over (after click on the card to get extra prizes...) i PRESS ESC many
times (4-5x) then it won't freeze.

Thanks, I'll have to try this. I'll get back to you if it prevents it from
freezing.
