Portals looking weird

[HUGE Log]

If i wait the minute and the first portal is open, it's looking weird and
entering will freeze the game and cause some page fault in kernel32.

Looking into portals is no problem. I can transfer things trough them, but not
enter them. Freeze upon my view field should change.

I have no idea why this happens.

hl2.exe is set to win98, no change. May the error be on the weird portals?

Don't set hl2.exe to win98.

What video card? What drivers?

Okay, set hl2.exe to Default (Default is set to 2k)

Video Card: nVidia Quadro 4 980 XGL

Drivers: 9xxx-Series (newest), 100.x Series aren't supporting my card :(

That is an old old card. You running Portal in dxlevel 80? dxlevel 70?
