Bug #: 32668 Summary: "choppy" Negative mouse acceleration in TESV: Skyrim Product: Wine Version: 1.5.21 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ssewall@comcast.net Classification: Unclassified
Linux Mint 14 MATE Nvidia Driver 310.14 EVGA GeForce 560ti x.org 7.7
I experience "negative" mouse acceleration in Skyrim. Moving the mouse in a certain direction causes it to repeatedly "jump" in the opposite direction. This results in very choppy mouse movement. Completely disabling acceleration by setting Velocity Scaling to 0 with xinput seems to help a bit, but doesn't completely solve the problem. I've tried this with two mice (Steelseries sensei and a random off-brand usb mouse) and get the same result.

--- Comment #1 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- Is this still an issue in current (1.7.35 or newer) wine? If so, please attach terminal output.
