Using wine's OSS driver, Vaz Modular reports 'MME Device already in use' with MME output selected, or 'Could not initialize DirectSound' with DirectSound selected.
Both Vaz Modular's outputs work fine using Wine's ALSA driver.

In any event, it used to work fine while xmms was running, sharing the OSS device. I can try and find the commit where this first occured.
