Commit 48e88074cdd09513164f8669b270d13425f4584c causes immediate crash in
Stellaris. Reverting it fixes the issue.

Hello,

Based on your report, I suppose that the game ran with a previous version of
wine and this is a regression.

Please, confirm and mention the previous version of wine.
