Under 1.2.30 it searches as it is supposed to do, but it never seems to terminate its search.

--- Comment #9 from brian mscdex@sbcglobal.net --- I just wanted to say that I also have noticed this for some time and it's a very annoying bug since you basically have no choice but to close Notepad++ and reopen it otherwise you keep getting a "Find In Files" dialog window in the task bar every time you do a search.
Ordinarily this "Find In Files" window should automatically (or manually if the search takes a long time and you click the button in the window to cancel the search) disappear when the search results show up in the main window.
I am using Ubuntu 14.04 x86-64 with Wine 1.7.26.

I forgot to mention that the Notepad++ version I'm currently using is version 6.6.8.

--- Comment #11 from nrbrtx@gmail.com --- I got the same result with Notepad++ 6.6.9 on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS with Wine 1.7.26 (from ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa). So bug exists and must be reopened!
Dear Brian! If you can, please write a comment to Notepad++ bug page ( https://sourceforge.net/p/notepad-plus/bugs/4784/ ) to inform Notepad++ developers about the problem.
