Therefore you have a difference between wine and windows that isn't neccessarily the game developers fault. The earlier such things are reported the more likely it gets solved before the official release of the game update.

--- Comment #5 from entropywizard@gmail.com --- This is now occurs on live with the latest prepatch release. It may be related to a reset Config.wtf file switching to DX12. I edited Config.wtf and changed "SET gxApi D3D12" to "SET gxApi D3D11_LEGACY" and was able to log in and play.
