Bug ID: 57361 Summary: need support for WD Unlock.exe to unlock Western Digital hard drive Product: Wine Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: parkerjbarker@yahoo.com Distribution: ---
After looking through the bug list, I see this bug: https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=12694
and the workaround suggested was to run WD Unlock using a Windows system in virtualbox.
What I'm asking for is support for WD Unlock.exe. I'm not sure if it's a 16-bit program or what. I get an error code when I try to run the program in Wine, which error code I can provide later - I don't remember the error code at the moment. I need this WD Unlock.exe program to work so that I can access the contents of my Western Digital hard drive.

--- Comment #1 from F H francisco278herrera@gmail.com --- Is there a legal download link you can provide to download the program? I tried going to Western digital's website but I could only find a program named WD Security that seems to be able to unlock drives.
