Ubuntu/64 v17.10
winehq-devel 3.1.0~artful
win64 python2.7 + wxpython 3.0.2

I have wxpython program which works fine on wine versions from 2.0 to 3.0.
Running on wine version 3.1 i got this assert message:

wx._core.PyAssertionError: C++ assertion "m_hDWP" failed at
....\src\msw\window.cpp(5198) in wxWindow::EndRepositioningChildren():
Shouldn't be called

from Window::SetSize(Size)

Same error when tested with win32 python2.7 + wxpython 3.0.2
It's not easy to reduce the code.
What can be done if i can't make simple test?
