The virtual desktop sometimes does not activate, which probably is a race. Wine
then behaves as if virtual desktop is not set in the registry. It usually
happens under memory pressure (memtest which uses mlock that leaves only 250mb
ram free while the system has more than enough swap) and also when running under
valgrind.
