correct that, the steps below allow me to start the app:
rm -rf ~/.wine winetricks riched30 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msftedit=""" wine PVsyst5_02_setup.exe and then app is launched from installer

The App appears to have installed successfully but crashes when launching. Can some one explain exact steps for workaround or fix.

The application checks the return value and throws an exception. The exception handler also seems to be buggy and throws another exception, so that you finally end up with err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow.
Using native richedit20, as suggested in comment 14, hides the error but does not solve the problem since ITextDocument2 is supposed to be part of msftedit.dll. Wine does not have a msftedit implementation, but just relays everything to riched20.dll. In order to get the application working, you need to replace both dlls using:
winetricks riched20 msftedit
