The demo tries to play this file: demologo.avi: RIFF (little-endian) data, AVI, 800 x 600, 12.00 fps, video: Indeo 5.0
So, I installed the icodecs pack through winetricks, which made it hang earlier... then used a native quartz and it gets further.

Possibly, though I'm on a crappy laptop (nvidia mobile 6150), so may just be my hardware. It's a small download, if someone else has a few minutes to test.
