--- Comment #1 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com 2013-01-26 05:41:31 CST --- Hey, this one is ok to test http://www.orov.nl/orov102.zip ?

--- Comment #2 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com 2013-01-26 08:42:38 CST --- I can't reproduce that with a program from http://www.orov.nl/orov102.zip. You'll need to do 'winetricks mdac27 jet40' to install needed database supporting modules though, wine doesn't provide them. If you still see a crash in 1.5.22 please install debug symbols to get more informative backtrace. If you use distro package for wine you could search for a separate dbg package to get symbols.

so we could let this open until this property is supported, but you'll likely still need native oledb32 at some point.

I think you've solved the problem well. Wine wants the files and oledb32.dll oledb32r.dll look in the folder C: \ windows \ system32. However, these files are in a different folder, ie C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ System \ OLE DB. Can you solve this problem? Kind regards, Erik

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. I'm assuming you're talking native oledb32 here (cause wine doesn't provide oledb32r.dll), and if you're still have to use native oledb32 it means you're not using wine's module and you're not testing fixes that I tried to do. Exact file location is not important, cause it's just a matter of COM registration (installer should take care of that). However if it's properly registered and wine doesn't use registration path to load it and keeps using what's in system32 it's probably a bug too, but totally unrelated.
You need to test with plain wine first (without any native modules copied manually or installed) and attach a log I asked for in comment 8. Otherwise I don't know if I can do anything.

--- Comment #15 from info@aannemervandelft.nl 2013-03-20 02:16:57 CDT --- I have from the original wine a + OLEDB, + tid logfile created logorov.txt and a wine-orov.log file. Both file's I added in comments 11 and 12. As you have asked in comment 8.
Furthermore, I tried to explain to you when I manually add the files in system32 oledb32r.dll and oledb32.dll the program works.
I also tried to say that I've found these files in the directory file :/ / / home / erik / .wine / DosDevices / c :/ Program% 20Files/Common% 20Files/System

With current wine I'm able to start it and close first couple of popup windows it shows on first launch. Of course I'm not sure if it needs more work cause I have no idea how to test this application, so please try with next wine version 1.5.28 + 'winetricks mdac27 jet40' + removed override for oledb32 (it will be added by winetricks and you need to remove it from override list with winecfg).
