--- Comment #1 from butraxz@gmail.com 2013-11-24 12:07:17 CST --- This ticket has not been updated for over 900 days. Development recommends to check the status on your bug every release or two and let to be known if the bug is still present. If not, mark it fixed. If you are no longer able to put effort to this ticket, you can abandon it.
Is this still an issue with 1.7.7 or higher ?

--- Comment #2 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
also no app/client version given so it's hard to know how to exactly reproduce. The main page requires some registration crap which reveals a link:
http://assets.game.twinity.com/TwinitySetup.exe
Without registration, an older client (Twinity 1.8.0.0, 2012) can be found here: http://twinity.soft32.com/
The client emits a lot of FIXME spam without displaying anything useful (some coloured background):

'winetricks d3dx9_36' is still needed but it seems to me that issues due to use of builtins are already covered by existing bugs.
I logged in using throw-away email I didn't see any graphical problems (went through some tutorials in entrance room/lobby).
Unfortunately OP didn't provide actual screenshots and even more preferable how it should look like (Windows).
Anyway, no further response from OP -> 'ABANDONED'.

Tidbit ... the whole thing looks like a clone of other sand box worlds, such as Kaneva, IMVU, Onverse, Utherverse, Active Worlds, SmallWorlds and of course Second Life. The hype was over some years ago but they kind of still exist for whatever reasons ... maybe to fulfil some dark desires of certain populace :)
