I downloaded the beta 16 of construct2, it ran with a few graphical differences
on the splash screen, but the menus are there so I selected open file, and then
the crash occurred, generating the log

Just tested on OSX 10.9.3 with wine-devel 1.7.19
Appears to have been fixed, I have no problems with opening projects and are
able save them to whatever destination i like.
