I see this logs when I try to run The World of Warcraft with Wine-staging 2.9

World of Warcraft game freezes in the character selection menu, but I keep
hearing the music from the game..
This issue has appeared to me just upgrading to Wine Staging 2.9. This problem
was not on Wine Staging 2.8 and on the development version of Wine 2.9.

My configuration:
Arch Linux x86_64.
AMD Radeon HD7770 with MESA 17.1.1.

This also looks like a duplicate of bug 43127.

Please note that this is not really a regression. Archlinux decided to switch
to GCC 7 for the Wine Staging 2.9 builds, but the Wine code wasn't really for
that yet. The issue can be worked around by disabling optimization, or by
applying the patch from the bug report above. I've already suggested to the
Archlinux people to provide a backport, however they only want to do that when
enough people report it directly to them. ;)
