I can't reproduce this with wine-0.9.56-264-g848383a, though I'm running in a
virtual desktop. Is this bug limited to some specific Wine settings?

I just did that about 10 minutes ago, `git pull` reports that I'm "Already
up-to-date." right now.

Ok, found out what's causing this. I didn't have any sound drivers selected in
winecfg. Surely that shouldn't cause an unhandled exception?

Works fine in wine-0.9.56-286-g1032ba6, no virtual desktop, kubuntu gutsy,
nvidia fx 5200/binary drivers.

Confirming that disabling sound causes a crash.

Correcting title. Minor because it's not often that you'd need to run it

Removing deprecated CVS/GIT version tag. Please retest in current git. If the
bug is still present in today's wine, but was not present in some earlier
version of wine, please update version field to earliest known version of wine

Still crashes when no sound drivers were selected. But I'm not sure if it is a
wine bug. Could anyone try this on win without a sound card/ with a disabled
sound card?

On XP with no sound card (deactivated per software) the app quits. It doesn't
crash there.
